Congratulations to the Matildas on their impressive performance throughout the FIFA Women’s World Cup. As the first Australian soccer team to make it through to the semi-finals in any World Cup, it was a momentous achievement – especially on home soil.
Although the outcome was not what they had hoped for, they have made all Australians and those of us who have come to call Australia home, very proud.
Good luck to the Matildas in their game against Sweden on Saturday, we will be watching and cheering you on.
