Today, the Ambassador was pleased to welcome at the Embassy young Australian leaders as part of the Global Voices Scholarship Program.
It was a great opportunity for the students to learn about the diplomatic role of Morocco on the global stage, as well as the leadership of the Kingdom with regard to counterterrorism, renewable energy, food security as well as its role in regional and international issues.
Students also had the opportunity to exchange their views with the Ambassador and asked her wide-range of questions including Her Excellency’s career path and the important role of women in diplomacy.
She importantly outlined the key opportunities and challenges for young people interested in contributing to strengthening bilateral relations between Morocco and Australia.
Four members of the young leaders from the Global Voices organisation will be attending the IMF and World Bank annual meetings in Morocco this October
